Comments from runners.

I have run the race 6 times & appreciate the little things that make the race a special event. For example, small rugs are at the start tine to sit on near the bonfires. The post race meal has that "home town" feel. The medals are made of "heavy metal." The race is chip times & the t shirts are high tech long sleeve. The race has the feel of a big time event, but has not lost its appeal to the small things that make it a "go to race" in Arizona. Hats off to Grady & his staff for his success over the years!

I have run the marathon several times. Very well run race. The race director is a former marathoner and it shows. Also, the town gets behind the race and makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Weather is usually excellent and the course is beautiful.

The 8K trail race is 90% run on a dirt trail in the nearby desert. Relatively flat with exception of 5-6 small washes! Plenty of water/aid stations and the course was well marked..

In support of Harvest Compassion Center, I chose to run my first 10k and I was nothing less that amazed at how well this event was organized, promoted and executed. Race Day was a blast. As a "back-of-the-pack" runner I felt like everyone was watching me cross the finish line with how they setup the finish. The only real challenge I felt could be improved is the parking for families with kids. Great event and can't wait to race in support of the HarvestCommpassionCenter.org again!

Lost Dutchman race officials put on a great event, they welcomed runners supporting the Harvest Compassion Center with open arms. The morning was a success all around.

This was one of the best races I have been to. Thanks to the organizers who put this race together. Looking forward to Lost Dutchman 2015.

I raced the 10K on behalf of the Harvest Compassion Center. I felt it was a difficult course from the standpoint of hills and heat. My entire family came to enjoy the morning and we thought it was a super, fun and safe environment! LOVED it!

The volunteers and the scenery make this the best race I do. There are some locally that I will never attend again. The organization, size, timing and for-thought by the race committee of this event make it a pleasure to participate in. Our running group has determined to make this our Arizona race location for a years to come.
